There has been no slowdown in the summer real estate market. In fact, July was a record-breaking month in The Toronto & GTA Real Estate Market!
In a month that is in a traditionally slower time of year, the market still shows no signs of letting up!
As in June, we were still in a SELLER's market in July! The buyers are still out there but the inventory continues to remain low, making the competition strong for seller’s properties.
Here is a glimpse at what The Toronto Real Estate Board REALTORS through TREB's MLS System has released in York and Simcoe Region for the month of July 2020:
York Region :
The average sales price is relatively unchanged compared to June 2020 with a - .01% decrease and UP +17.39% compared to July 2019
The average sales price is UP +15.27% since January 2020!
The number of sales are UP +36.63% from June 2020!
Simcoe Region :
The average sales price is UP +1.81% compared to June 2020, and UP +10.28% compared to June 2019
The average sales price is UP +5.16% since January 2020.
The number of sales jumped +14.39% from June 2020!
